Ingredients: Dried Elderberries, Cinnamon, Dried Orange Slices, Dried Ginger Root, Cloves

Combine: Empty the contents of this kit into a saucepan. REMOVE AND DISCARD DESSICANT PACKS. Add 2 cups of water to the saucepan.

Simmer: Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 40–45 minutes, or until the liquid is reduced by about half.

Strain: Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth, pressing berries to extract all the goodness.

Sweeten: Once the liquid is warm (not hot), stir in 1 cup (or at least the same amount as strained liquid. NOT less) of raw honey and mix well.

Store: Pour syrup into a clean glass jar or bottle. Keep refrigerated for up 6 weeks.
